My short and long term goals are focused on instruction, activities and teaching and learning in general. The educational setting is a very dynamic set that requires from the teacher continuous improvement, change and development on the personal as well as professional level. There is no progress without changes and I am willing to advance in my personal and professional life. I do not think that exploring new venues and developing as a professional demands to abandon the past. I believe that any progress is built on the past. Any personal growth as a professional needs basic identity, experience, knowledge, training and tools in applying changes. As far as leadership goes, I was moved by Drew Dudley‘s “Everyday Leadership” talk on TED who considers leadership “…as everyday act of improving each other’s lives.” In it I find a parallel to old an Polish proverb; "a drop (of water) bores through rock", and many drops do it quicker. In terms of my short and long term goals, networking plays an important role. Since I concentrate on cross-disciplinary activities and application of STEM and IB curriculum, my network will include teachers of different subjects and from different countries. My curated resources include European Network as well as various international/IB websites.
